I'm the founder and CEO of Marvin Webb Micro Consulting. I serve as a Fractional CFO and CHRO for social justice nonprofits and foundations, organizations with budgets from under $500K to nearly $20M. Most of my clients come to me through referrals. 

 

I bring 15 years of nonprofit CFO experience, including more than 10+ at Funders for LGBTQ Issues, where I saw the sector from both the funder and operator sides. My approach blends business acumen with a deep understanding of finance, human resources, technology, and how mission-driven organizations actually run.

 

I help leaders clarify their finances, build fair HR systems, and equip their boards to make confident, strategic decisions. My HR work rests on four pillars: employee engagement, total compensation, learning and development, and performance management, all viewed through the lenses of race, gender, transgender issues, and disability. This holistic approach aligns strategic goals with measurable outcomes.

 

I am also the Founder and CEO of Nonprofit Operations, a sector intelligence platform that connects operations professionals with jobs, news, and research in the field.

 

Before finance & HR, I spent 17 years as a professional modern dancer in New York City. That career taught me discipline, creativity, and how to adapt when plans change. I hold an MFA in contemporary dance,  an MBS in management and human resources, and an MS in Accountancy.

I remain actively involved in community and volunteer initiatives, serving on boards including the National Council of Nonprofits, the Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Center, and the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, championing community building and LGBTQ rights.
